Asset Management Team

The Asset Management (Operations) Team reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for asset management of the operating assets (including those under construction) and the administration of the Fund and its underlying investments.

David Jackson                                                                   
Operations Director

David is the Operations Director and is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the fund, liaison with the Administrators and oversight of the operations and maintenance of the constructed assets. He has been working in Operations roles for over 15 years, most recently with Capital Elements in London where he was responsible for compliance and regulatory issues, operational oversight and managing the relationships with the Administrators.

From 1997–2008 he was with UBS Investment Bank where he was a Transition Manager responsible for project managing the operational aspects of pension fund restructurings and before that a Client Relationship Manager responsible for operational service delivery to UBS’ top tier clients.

Before UBS, David was a commissioned officer in the Royal Engineers for 8 years, which included operational tours in the Gulf and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Magda Nelešovská 
Finance Director

As the Finance Director, Magda is primarily focused on the overall financial, legal and compliance matters of EnerCap and its M&A activities. Most recently she has been leading exits from the existing portfolio of the EnerCap Power Funds.

Magda is responsible for the Funds’ financial management, corporate and legal matters of the Funds’ portfolio and holding companies, their administrators, tax structuring and reporting. She also provides asset management service for selected projects (both owned by EnerCap and third parties) and is responsible for their debt financing, supplier sourcing and contracting (operations and maintenance contracts, advisory agreements), negotiation of energy sales (power purchase agreements) and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Following her studies at University of Economics in Prague, Magda spent 4 years at Ernst & Young, advising large international clients. Magda has a Master’s degree in Corporate Economics and Management and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
